| Manningham Gallery |
Manningham Gallery provides an exciting and diverse exhibition program that showcases local and national artists, and includes community arts projects. The growing public program features artist and specialist talks, forums, workshops, demonstrations and tours.
The Gallery was established as a public gallery in 1985 in the municipal offices by the Doncaster & Templestowe Arts’ Association, with strong support from the then Doncaster & Templestowe City Council. Manningham City Council took over the management of the Gallery in 1997. In 2001 the Gallery was relocated to a purpose built space in the new Function Centre at the Manningham City Council Offices – a great contrast to the original space that was a built in car park!
Founded on a strong commitment to bringing the arts to the local community, Manningham Gallery provides a quality space for artists to exhibit and for the community to enjoy and interact with art and artists in a relaxed environment.
